This class is for those new to hula or those with experience.
◆ Almost all students join through this class as a Papa AʻAliʻi.
◆ You will thoroughly learn the Hula Basics proper movement/execution; "Oli" or traditional chant; two forms of Hula "Kahiko - traditional" and "'Auana - modern." You will also slowly learn a trademarked halau song and choreography while having fun.
◆ Each student will be observed and evaluated by "Alaka'i - Leader/Director" KAHIAU FLORES-AREND on basics, stage presence, and movement execution and will then assign the appropriate class category to ensure the student's growth and progression in Hula.
